but HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THAT JUST LIKE IN 2.20, STEFAN WAS GOING TO LET HER DIE IN 3.22. He honored her choice to save Matt. And when he was waiting in the hospital for her to wake up, he was devastated, because he knows Elena. Even though it cuts off her reaction to waking up, by knowing three seasons of her - and with Stefan there - we can already hear her breaking down to Stefan in 2.20, and the foreshadowing is just deafening.

at first I didn’t, but if Meredith told Damon as soon as he came in I don’t see why she wouldn’t have told Stefan that ‘oh yeah that girl you’re sitting over here in the dark morgue might wake up jsyk’ although that would have been hilarious.
I know Bekah is going to be facing hell for what she did, but I still feel terrible for her.
IA tbh. She always makes emotional, impulsive decisions. She just lost her abusive but absolutely co-dependently necessary brother, violently, in front of her. And she’s only been “alive” again and been through how much since her undaggering in Chicago? She cracked. She had enough. I don’t see why Bex has to be labeled evil or hateful or catch a hypocritical amount of “hell” from fandom for attacking someone she’s always seen as an enemy. Especially in her trauma. Especially right after she’s been betrayed by everyone, including her mother’s direct, backstabbing murder attempts, twice. Especially when Alaric is a walking reminder of how much her mother hates her. Especially when Elena is a walking reminder of how much her mother loved her. Especially when there IS no real “good” in TVD making good vs evil pretty ridiculous to label to its characters.
Haaaa there are a lot of reasons that I have no truck with Rebekah, but her act in the finale is not one of them. Damon and Stefan, after all, murder people to save their own lives or to save Elena’s all the time. (And you know Elijah isn’t going to get the same level of shit.) The car was a strike against an enemy in a fight; it is not the act I would choose to revile Rebekah for.
